Torrevieja town remains property hotspot on the Costa Blanca real estate market

Torrevieja (Spanish pronunciation: [toreˈβjexa], Valencian: Torrevella [toreˈveʎa]) is a seaside town and resort located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alicante, in south-eastern Spain.
Torrevieja lies about 30 miles south of the city of Alicante and has a population of 104,000 (2008). Torrevieja was originally a salt-mining and fishing village as it is located between the sea and two large salt lakes (Las Salinas), which give Torrevieja a healthy micro climate.

With the European economy on the recovery path from the financial crisis and international property investors showing more willingness to buy homes in the Southern Europe the outlook for the Spain’s real estate market in 2014 remains also quite optimistic.

High interest for buying houses in Torrevieja in Costa Blanca recently demonstrated by Russian buyers has significantly contributed to a 35% increase in house sales on the Costa Blanca and resulted in 4000 deals concluded on the Costa Blanca's property market over the past year.
